Standard Cleaning FAQs
A few common questions about routine cleaning.
Is Standard Cleaning a deep cleaning?
No. Standard Cleaning is designed for routine maintenance in a home that is already in maintained condition. If there is heavier buildup or more detailed work is needed, Enhanced or Deep Cleaning may be a better fit.
Can I add extra tasks?
Yes. Depending on the task and available time, add-ons or a Custom Cleaning may be the better option. Contact the office before the appointment so we can plan appropriately.
Can Standard Cleaning be recurring?
Yes. Weekly, biweekly, and every-four-week recurring schedules may qualify for the reduced recurring labor rate.

Deep Cleaning FAQs
Does Deep Cleaning include inside the oven or refrigerator?
Not by default. Inside the oven, refrigerator, cabinets/drawers, and dishwasher filter cleaning are available as add-ons.
Why can the price of a Deep Cleaning vary?
Deep-cleaning labor can vary significantly based on the size and condition of the home, number of blinds, cabinet tops, bathroom buildup, and other detailed work needed.
Is there a minimum?
Yes. Deep Cleaning has a 4 total labor-hour minimum.
Custom Cleaning
Reserve cleaning time around the areas and tasks that matter most to you.
$55 per labor hour · 4 total labor-hour minimum
How it works
Time-Limited
Reserve a specific amount of labor time and tell us which priorities come first.
Area-Limited
Focus on selected rooms or parts of the home.
Priorities
Kitchen/bathrooms, selected rooms, baseboards, blinds, interior windows, or your own task list.
Custom Cleaning FAQs
What happens if I do not give the team priorities?
By default, the team follows the Standard Cleaning scope and prioritizes the kitchen and bathrooms first.
Will every task be completed?
Not necessarily when the service is time-limited. The team works through your priorities in order during the labor time reserved.
Can I focus the cleaning on only part of my home?
Yes. Custom Cleaning can be time-limited, area-limited, or both.
Recurring Cleaning
Keep your home on a dependable cleaning schedule with a recurring plan built around the way you want your home maintained.
$50 per labor hour per cleaner on qualifying recurring schedules · 4 total labor-hour minimum
A recurring plan does not have to be one-size-fits-all.
Your recurring cleaning can follow a routine maintenance scope, a reserved amount of labor time, selected areas and priorities, or a combination that works for your home.
Routine Maintenance
Use a Standard-style maintenance scope to keep the whole home consistently clean from visit to visit.
Reserved Labor Time
Set a recurring amount of labor time—such as 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 labor hours—and use that time on the priorities that matter most.
Selected Areas & Priorities
Focus each recurring visit on specific areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, floors, bedrooms, or another agreed priority list.
For example, you can reserve a set amount of labor time and also give the team a defined list of rooms or priorities to work through during each visit.
Choose the schedule that fits your home.
Qualifying recurring-rate schedules are weekly, biweekly, and every four weeks. Other recurring frequencies may be arranged with the office but do not automatically qualify for the reduced recurring rate.
Weekly
Best for homes that benefit from frequent maintenance and consistent upkeep.
Biweekly
A popular balance for keeping the home maintained without a weekly visit.
Every Four Weeks
A recurring option for homes that need regular maintenance on a longer interval.
Save with ongoing service.
Qualifying recurring cleanings are billed at $50 per labor hour per cleaner, compared with the standard $55 labor-hour rate.
The reduced rate applies to the recurring service plan once the schedule and scope are established with the office.
Once your plan is set up
You do not need to rebuild the cleaning plan every visit. The agreed recurring scope carries forward to future appointments.
If your needs change, contact the office and we can adjust the priorities, labor time, or scope for future visits.
Recurring Cleaning FAQs
Does recurring cleaning have to follow the Standard Cleaning checklist?
No. A recurring plan can use a routine maintenance scope, a set amount of labor time, selected areas or priorities, or a combination arranged with the office.
Can I reserve the same number of labor hours every visit?
Yes. A recurring plan can be built around a reserved amount of labor time, such as 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 labor hours, depending on the needs of the home and scheduling.
Can I focus only on certain areas?
Yes. The recurring scope can focus on selected areas such as the kitchen, bathrooms, floors, bedrooms, or another agreed priority list.
What recurring schedules are available?
Weekly, biweekly, and every-four-week schedules qualify for the recurring rate. Other recurring frequencies may be arranged with the office but do not automatically qualify for the reduced recurring rate.
What is the recurring rate?
Qualifying recurring cleanings are offered at $50 per labor hour per cleaner instead of the standard $55 labor-hour rate.

Do you handle linens?
Yes. Beds can be remade with fresh linens and towels replaced and staged. Laundry can be handled on-site or off-site according to the arrangement with the owner or property manager.
Do you clean the refrigerator every turnover?
We do a quick refrigerator check, remove expired or leftover perishable items as appropriate, and wipe accessible shelves or spills. A full refrigerator interior cleaning is not part of every turnover.
Can you report low supplies or damage?
Yes. Restocking, low-supply reporting, and noticeable damage/property concern reporting can be arranged with the office.

Post-Construction Cleaning FAQs
Does construction need to be completely finished?
Ideally, yes. This prevents new construction dust from being created after cleaning. Minor final touches may be acceptable depending on the project.
Will you remove paint, caulk, grout, or adhesive?
Small amounts may be removed when they come off reasonably and safely. Heavy or unusually messy construction residue is outside the normal scope and the project may be declined.
Do you remove construction debris?
We vacuum and pick up small, light debris. Large debris and construction materials must be removed by the contractor or customer before cleaning.
Do you clean inside cabinets and drawers?
In vacant areas, yes. In occupied or furnished areas, interiors are not included by default when belongings are inside unless specifically arranged.

Labor hours are different from time in your home.
Perfect Cleaning works in teams of at least two cleaners—usually three and sometimes four. Labor hours are the combined working time of everyone on your cleaning team.
Here’s the simplest way to think about it.
If you reserve 8 labor hours, that does not mean our team will be in your home for 8 hours.
The same labor time can be completed by different team sizes.
The office assigns the team size based on scheduling and the job. Customers reserve labor hours rather than a specific number of cleaners.
2 cleaners
4 hours on site
= 8 labor hours
3 cleaners
About 2 hr 40 min on site
= 8 labor hours
4 cleaners
2 hours on site
= 8 labor hours
Why we price this way
Labor-hour pricing keeps the amount of cleaning work consistent even when the number of cleaners assigned to a job changes. A larger team can complete the same total labor hours in less time on site.
Another example
3 cleaners × 2 hours on site = 6 labor hours.
The number of cleaners may vary, but the combined labor time is what counts.
For example, a 4 labor-hour minimum could be completed by two cleaners in about two hours on site.
Everything you may want to know before your cleaning.
Browse the complete FAQ below. Questions that apply only to a particular service are also shown on that service’s page.
Booking & Scheduling
What time will my cleaning team arrive?
We schedule a 30-minute arrival window to allow for normal variations in traffic and the appointment before yours.
Do I need to be home?
No. We only need a reliable way to access the property.
How can I give the team access?
Common options include a door or garage code, lockbox, hidden key, or having the homeowner, resident, tenant, or property contact let the team in. If access does not work, the office will call or message you.
How many cleaners will come?
Perfect Cleaning always works in teams of at least two cleaners, usually three and sometimes four. The office assigns the team size based on the job and schedule.
Can I choose how many cleaners come?
No. You reserve cleaning service/labor time rather than a specific team size. The office determines the appropriate team assignment.
Pricing & Labor Hours
What is a labor hour?
A labor hour is one hour of work by one cleaner. If three cleaners work for two hours, that equals six total labor hours.
If I book 8 labor hours, will you be in my home for 8 hours?
No. Because Perfect Cleaning works in teams of at least two, the total labor hours are divided among the team. For example, four cleaners working for two hours equals eight labor hours.
What are your hourly rates?
The standard rate is $55 per labor hour per cleaner. Qualifying weekly, biweekly, and every-four-week recurring cleanings receive a reduced rate of $50 per labor hour per cleaner.
Are there minimums?
Perfect Cleaning has a 4 total labor-hour minimum per cleaning visit. Specialized services such as Vacancy Cleaning may use a different estimating structure, but the company-wide minimum still applies.
Can the final cost vary?
Yes. Hourly services are based on the labor actually needed or the labor time reserved, depending on the service. Condition, buildup, size, priorities, and add-ons can affect total labor.
Before Your Cleaning
Do I need to clean before the team arrives?
No. You do not need to pre-clean. However, the more personal items and clutter that are picked up beforehand, the more of the team’s time can be focused on actual cleaning instead of moving things around.
Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?
Yes. Our team brings its own normal cleaning supplies and equipment.
Can you use my cleaning products instead?
Yes, in many cases. Please let the office know before the appointment so the team can be prepared to use the products you provide.
What products do you normally use?
We try to use more natural products on larger surface areas such as floors, counters, and general dusting surfaces. We also use stronger products, including bleach, in certain areas when appropriate.
What should I do with pets?
Friendly pets that are not likely to escape are generally fine. If a pet may become stressed, interfere with cleaning, or try to get outside while the team enters and exits, please secure the pet in a safe area.
Services & What’s Included
How do I know which cleaning service to choose?
Standard is routine maintenance; Enhanced adds more hands-on detail; Deep is for heavier buildup. Custom is for specific priorities, selected areas, or reserved time. Recurring Cleaning is for an ongoing residential plan with a reduced recurring rate and flexible scope, while Vacancy, Short-Term Rental, and Post-Construction are designed for specialized situations.
What happens if my home needs more cleaning than the service I selected?
If buildup is beyond the maintenance level selected, the office may contact you about upgrading the service or adjusting the scope so the team can clean the home properly without disrupting the rest of the schedule.
Can I request add-ons?
Yes. Add-ons may include tasks such as inside the oven, inside the refrigerator, interior window glass within the applicable height limit, blinds, dishwasher filter cleaning, inside cabinets/drawers, and other service-specific extras.
Do you make beds?
Yes. For residential cleaning, beds can be made when clean sheets are left out. Short-Term Rental service includes its own linen and bed-making arrangements.
Recurring Cleaning
Do you offer recurring cleaning?
Yes. Weekly, biweekly, and every-four-week schedules are available for qualifying residential cleaning customers.
Is recurring cleaning a different rate?
Yes. Qualifying recurring cleaning is offered at the reduced recurring rate of $50 per labor hour per cleaner rather than the standard $55 rate.
What if I skip a recurring cleaning?
The labor-hour rate itself remains the applicable recurring rate, but the next visit may require more labor because the home has had additional time to accumulate dust and buildup.
Cancellations & Access Problems
What is the cancellation policy for regular cleaning?
For regular services, cancellations with at least 24 hours’ notice do not have a cancellation fee. With less than 24 hours’ notice, a fee of up to $50 may apply.
What is the cancellation policy for larger projects?
For Deep Cleaning, Vacancy Cleaning, and Post-Construction Cleaning: 48+ hours’ notice has no fee; 24–48 hours’ notice may result in a fee up to $250; and less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a fee up to $350.
What happens if the team cannot get into the property?
The office will try to contact you if a code does not work, a door is locked, or another access problem occurs. If the team cannot gain access and the cleaning cannot be performed, the appointment may be treated as a cancellation and the applicable cancellation policy may apply.
Quality, Damage & Safety
What if something was missed?
Please contact the office within 24 hours. We will review the concern and make a reasonable effort to make things right, including returning to address an affected area when appropriate under our cleaning satisfaction promise.
What happens if something is accidentally damaged?
If our team reports accidental damage, the office will contact you and work with you on the appropriate resolution. If you discover possible damage, contact the office so we can investigate what happened and determine the next step.
Are tips required?
No. Tips are never required, but they are always appreciated by the cleaning team.
Specialized Services
Does a Vacancy Cleaning property need to be empty?
Yes. Vacancy Cleaning is intended for vacant move-in/move-out properties with personal belongings removed, utilities active, and safe access available.
How does Vacancy Cleaning pricing work?
Vacancy Cleaning is hourly with a confirmed maximum estimate. The customer is billed for actual labor used and the final charge will not exceed the confirmed maximum for the approved scope unless the customer approves additional work or a change in scope. A 50% deposit based on the confirmed maximum is required.
What is different about Short-Term Rental Cleaning?
It follows a guest-turnover format, including bed/linen handling, towel staging, a quick refrigerator check, dishes as needed, and optional supply or property-condition reporting.
What does Post-Construction Cleaning focus on?
It primarily removes construction dust, smudges, small/light debris, and reasonable amounts of light residue after construction or renovation. Heavy construction debris or unusually extensive paint, caulk, grout, or adhesive residue is not part of the normal scope.
A local cleaning company built around reliability.
Since 2017, Perfect Cleaning has helped residents and property owners throughout the Bend area keep their spaces clean with dependable scheduling, clear communication, and an organized team behind every appointment.
Serving Bend since July 2017.
Perfect Cleaning started with a straightforward goal: provide a cleaning service people could feel comfortable inviting into their homes and confident scheduling again.
Over the years, the company has grown into an organized local cleaning operation serving residential homes, move-in and move-out properties, short-term rentals, and post-construction projects throughout the Bend area.
Our services and systems have grown, but reliability remains at the center of how we operate.
What you can expect
Reliable scheduling
We take appointments seriously and work to provide service you can plan around.
Clear communication
From access instructions to unexpected cleaning needs, we keep communication straightforward.
Consistent quality
Defined service scopes, team leaders, and quality checks help keep standards consistent.
A local team
Real cleaning teams and office support stand behind every appointment.
Cleaning is only part of the service.
Showing up, communicating clearly, respecting the home, and doing what we said we would do matter just as much.
Dependability
Customers should feel confident that their cleaning is being handled by a company that takes scheduling and follow-through seriously.
Respect for the Home
We work carefully around personal belongings, follow property-specific instructions, and treat every home with the respect we would expect in our own.
Clear Expectations
Our cleaning levels and specialized services are clearly defined so customers can understand what they are requesting before the appointment.
More than one cleaner — an organized system.
Perfect Cleaning works in teams of at least two cleaners. Team size can vary depending on the property, workload, and schedule.
Our cleaning teams work with team leaders, office support, defined cleaning scopes, and quality-control procedures designed to keep appointments organized from scheduling through completion.
Before-and-after documentation may also be used when appropriate for quality control and property documentation.
The right cleaning for the property — not a one-size-fits-all package.
A maintained home does not need the same service as a detailed reset. A vacant move-out does not need the same system as a short-term rental turnover. Construction dust requires a different approach again.
